Nice request. I've been looking into one as well, and only found a few builds with searching. Since theres an Edge Chassis Pics thread, I think there needs to be an HBZ Warthog Chassis Pics thread. I have to build a tuber for my g/f and since I already have two rigs with Edge chassis I'd like to be able to show her several nice finished Warthog rigs to see if she'll approve of one.

Check out Page 118 of the new Xtreme R/C Magazine! There's a really cool "Snow Crawler" write up using a Warthog. |

CreepyCrawl, could you post a pic from the rear of your rig, so I can see how you have set your links up please. And maybe one from underneath?? Also it looks like you are running losi shocks front and rear? I wondered how you are going on with this set up? I tried them on mine and found the GC was way too low, please let me know, thanks. rats, just noticed that this is your old rig, maybe you can still help out? Jordi555 |

I don't have those specific pics for you, but here's the link to my original post as well as some specs on that set up... http://rccrawler.com/forum/showthrea...t=grudgeholder Traxxas Big Bores with Losi White springs (1.9 rate) 70w Trinity Oil Straight Links all around with Traxxas rod ends (Axial ends inboard on upper links) TCS 4 link Boomerang in the rear, stock 3 link up front TCS Delrin Skid Losi Claws Belly clearance was 1 7/8" but I switched out the Traxxas shock ends to HPI Savage shock ends and it brought the clearance up to 2 1/4 It was silly low, but ultra stable. Off camber performance was most impressive. The Warthog is a really cool little chassis...anything that Ryan designs tends to be solid | |
