I am actually going to do strait links on this but they will be machined, and have a couple cool touches milled in the sides.

Maybe your tranny is flipped and the 27t motor was running backwards? They can run cool with the right setup, but it depends on how hard you are pushing the rig too.

Volting and up and gearing down can cause more heat and increase torque at wheel greatly. Higher voltage will facilitate more amps being used to create torque. More volts + More amps = more heat on the parts.

Just buy a puller, you will be far better off. Plus pullers are a crap load smoother in my experience. Anyway look forward to further details

I've run JRH's 25T's for a year and a half on big 3cell lipo's, with no heat issues. Only time they get hot is in the middle of the summer after crawling for a couple hours straight ;)

I am really looking forward to seeing how far I can push the theme.

Heath from Cow RC contacted me in regards to using his product line on this build and giving him my thoughts on it. He sent me his pit mat, cleaners, dusters, lubricant, etc. He also volunteered his painter to do the lid for this build. I am looking forward to having a top quality body done for it.

I also got some new tooling for my CNC and I am going to use the tiny tooling to do the engraving and such on all the other parts.

Harley, My friend is running the first generation Hybrid that you made. Is there any difference from the first one you designed to this new one?

The only changes are very subtle and just to make manufacturing easier. Other than that all the geometry is the same. Almost any part should be a direct replacement.

Sweet looking chassis. I like the etching, nice touch.

I'm interested in seeing the links?

Watching..

That's the one thing I've been the most emo about., I didn't just want to throw allthread or the normal delrin rod links on...

You going to run 4mm studs and revo/jato ends?

I am going to be running Revo ends so that I have more length to the Delrin link so I have more room to engrave.

Here is what I am going to attempt on the links. We will see how it works. If I wasn't so tired right now I would go fire up the CNC now. All 4 links would be different.
