I spent a little time last night tearing down the wheels. I removed the Chisels and Proline foams, and installed the new Sedonas with 5.5" double deuces.
Then I painted the outer plates purple to match the skins and tie rod. The front wheels have 3 bearings installed, and the rears have none. This should give me a good variation of weights to run for comping. Also, I plan to use 2 of my B.A.M. wheels in the rear with rovers.

The overall weight right now with these Mayhems is 6.92 lbs with no battery.

Looks cool man, I like the purple rings. If you like you can lose 75% of your bead lock hard wear too, to make changing weights easier.

Yeah, I read ya...but I am slightly OCD...I cant possibly leave holes unfilled. Anyway, I dont plan to change the weights that often.

As I see it, I have the front wheels and tires with weights, then I have the rears with no weights that I can still use as fronts in combination with the BAM wheels in the rear. I should have enough options for our little outing next month.

She is all tuned as well. Her movement is buttery smoothe.

When I did the assembly on this rig, I did not have any drag link that was the correct length, so I did it like this.

I have the 4 steer frogger done the correct way though...and the steering goes until the tires hit the springs.

If you want to see lock to lock, check out the thread by highlucks. His SSS-R uses my tie rod, and it goes all the way.

Yeah Highlucks SSS-R pics were the only one's I could find, just curious to see it mounted up with when shocks were in play.

Thanks Casey

Hey, sorry for the delayed response to this inquiry. If you take a look at these pics of my 4 steer frogger, it should settle your mind on any doubts you have.

Thanks Brother......this picture helps. Your chassis uses stock shock holes right (shock angle). When turning right how bad does it get into that shock above? Sorry to be a pain, just having a hell of a time getting my bta to work w/zero ack's.

The tie rod barely touches the spring in either direction. I made my tie rod thick so you can grind it down where it rubs....if needed.

If you look closely here, you can see that the tie rod is super close to the spring, and this is at its closest.

Also, remember...you can adjust this by adjusting the length of your uppers compared to your lowers.

Well, I use them for completely different reasons. The rovers are mounted on BAM wheels, which weigh nearly nothing...so that is my lightweight setup. But, my Sedonas are mounted on the Mayhems...and they are heavy bastards. But, the Sedonas do have bite. They grab like no one's business.

The Turbines...yeah, they look badass.
