Hi,

Some good new, I received my HH motor, a 20T, 5 pôles with somme option like a Weight Kit Stage 3. The engine is lighter of 30g with compared with my old standard motor.

Motor comme with wire and connector.

Useless to say that the motor is excellent!! Smooth in the starting, very punch and good speed.

A new trany, lighter of 4g.

It is 34g of gained on the set motor/trany/skid.

Other surprising improvement, I remplace the rear shaft. MIP are very good shaft, but really heavy. Even having tortured them, it still weighs 52g.

And yes, the shaft is stiff and does not slide on him even
By studying the MIP, I noticed that it slid of 0.5mm at most, about is the movement of the rear axle. The play of the rod ends and the trany exit shaft compensate widely for this movement... Result, still 23g of gained!!

Now the RTR weight is of 1.587 kg - 3 lb 8 oz.

thanks.

Hello,

Yes some news, Nik6189

Upper carbone frame by Tomi. Very very nice work

Rear titane shaft by CREEPERBOB, a big big thanks for its patience

Rear shaft finalized >> 17g 2 x Notyro Cardan joint ST and 4mm titane round

I also refined the shocks, by using pink springs in rear( Losi very soft) and more soft spring in front.

Final weight 1564g - 3lb 7.1oz

Now, this project is accomplished and it should not too much evolve any more...

How do the rear shafts work with articulation? From the video it looks like it is not binding, but I am not sure how.
