Those knuckles are a good design dude. I'm sure you'll get the steering your after.

Really sounds like they are working out already then. 60* of clean steering will make you smile for sure.

Nice work Chris. Welcome to an exclusive club. Not many truly unique axles out there. My AXR60 has proven to be very durable. Perhaps not as eye catching as your bully knuckles, but it's going to be in my rig for a very long time. Best part is it was dirt cheap because I built it myself. Plus, I've still got room to grow by upgrading knuckles and c-hubs if the need arises. So far, I can't seem to break it just the way it is. |

Merc the Ax60B axle was inspired by your AXR60 by the way you did your beef tubes mine were done slightly different. So all the inspiration is owned to you and Eric Wish mine was en expensive but the money invested I hope will be worth it Last edited by chris.martell; 10-05-2013 at 06:14 PM. |

It's worth the money. Now you have quality knuckle weights (not to mention ultra beefy parts). I may eventually upgrade to VP knuckles whether I need the strength or not just to get knuckle weights. I can build some stuff, but not machined knuckle-wrapping brass weights. I'm not sure what my ultimate needs will be since the rig is still "brand new". If tuner weights are enough, I may not go that route. If I need more than what will fit in the wheels, then it's VP and Blue Monkey or Dlux weights to the rescue! | |

I got some more work done tonight and finally got the steering I was looking for. Good bit of caster And finally found some DE Racing TLR22 buggy wheels Wes turned me on to saving me a ton of time and money! I was having a good deal of trouble with the first set of uni's I got lining the uni pins up with the king pins but with a little help from Erik I was able to get the second set perfect. Now I'm either about to ruin a set of Sedona's by attempting to narrow them down 3/8 of an inch or I'm going to make them bad a$$. |

Took me just over an hour to narrow 2 tires they came out decent for my first time doing it. I'm going to let them dry over night before I mount them. I'll post pictures once mounted
