Default Fordsuperduty's p40 boxer build

I haven't been on the comp scene very long and what I had as a comp rig was at best mediocre. So after our February comp where I met Barry and the Boxer chassis. I decided to pull the trigger on a full shafty build.

Not being used to the actual comp scene ( I've always been a scale builder) I had to lean very hard on Barry's knowledge and guidance. We had a comp the 3-8-14 and this rig wasn't finished until 2am that morning.
All I can say is what an amazing chassis. I finished 10th which for me was a great achievement. I'll post pics shortly but I wanted to go ahead and thank Barry (ClassiCutCustoms), cliff, baldy, and slick for being supportive and helpful.

Thanks man. I've started mixing paint to get the perfect od green tint. Then it's on to airbrushing my first multi color paint job.

and that was almost a weird moment there glad you clarified.

Looking forward to seeing your paint job. Knowing cliff things will get a lot weirder before this build is over.

I see you have a puller for a motor but what ESC are you running. That is some big wire on that dude.

Make sure the wings aint to wide that will make it tough as hell going thru gates, but with the blade on the front it'll keep electronics cool....

Looks nice man. Im not a big fan of all the stickers down the back on that paint job. To cool and clean for that. But that's just my opinion and we all know the saying on that. Now lets see some pictures of them wheels and body all mounted up on that dog!!
