Ya bro I was hesitant to go with purple on this rig seeing as though none of my other stuff is purple but fastener express was having a sale so I went with it .... And it's like the sky at night black and purple perfect for a nightmare theme ;)

It's just enough thread if you hold the die at a slight angle .. Put a little blue lock tite on the threads and you're good ... Haven't had one fail yet

heres a shot of the 1 and a half rovers glued together and the majority of a set of voodoo sidewalls ..... Surprisingly I had a roll of masking tape at my shop that was exactly as large as the sidewalls need to be so I use it as a stencil to mark the voodoos for cutting ... Here is one all glued up

I got some of these crafty little carbon steering arms from CCC and mounted them to the knuckles had to bend the steering rod just a bit for clearance I also fashioned myself a 1/8 ti drag link

Steering is pretty impressive on this rig I have to mess around with wheel spacing but mock up turning radius looks good to me

I got these wheels a few months ago from CALDERWOOD design and fabrication and thought they looked like dream catchers ... So I figured they'd be pretty fitting on a chassis called NIGHTMARE ...

That steering is mind blowing. Literally. How did you accomplish that?

The steering is a mix of modded universals the wraith knuckles the shape and length of the steering arms .. The proper spacing to allow the rods to gingerly slide around and not hit anything .... And how the front axle plate was designed so you can set the servo at an angle for maximum flow

Well from mounting to the lowest hole I'm using it's 25mm I had to mod the plate for swing room to get the throw I have ... Drag link is 45 eye to eye

So getting anxious to rip this thing I put my old body on while my new one is being painted .. And went down to my basement to my practice course don't mind the insulation ;) ... I started with the same knuckle weight my old rig had and I'll probably take most of it off ... This rig is extremely nimble and the tires are great on the quickcrete... Flex is perfect steering is amazing .... Suspension cycles are killer EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with this chassis ... Got a little tweaking to do at some point tomorrow maybe I'll get some video up ... But so far so good .... Don at BILLET WORKS DESIGNS really outdid himself I'm a very happy driver .... I'll be expecting to see many more of these on the courses this year ....

Nice practice course, makes my garage one look downright puny.

Oh, rig looks good too!
