| Crawl's" Sucker Punch to a full on Boxer" build
There is a lot of changes happening for me right now. I got my first runs in with my new CCC pro Sunday and have 30 days until ECC for this rig. I'll be juggling the pro, sporty and a endless mini build for the next month. Here are some pics and info to get this sporty thread rolling. First off, one unique rear sporty axle. This is a hybrid berg/ax design from CCC. I told Barry that I love my EYD voodovers but struggled to get them on my sporty due to width issues. I don't like running the intelligent idea of a flat faced wheel inside out and there are only so many spacers I can run before I lose faith in the strength. This is an awesome solution. It is 8.125" wide and will easily get my 10.5ish width without the negatives I mentioned above. It also comes in 10g's lighter without Ti shafts. Although the builds are " Gucci " themed, I'm not putting Ti out back right away. However it's something I do want in the future. It also features the standard CCC choker collars and rear 4 link plate. These will be the shafts for the rig. They seem to be gaining popularity here and abroad so we thought them a no brainer for this rig. Again, I love having the best equipment on all my trucks but these will stay steel for the time being. Perhaps Barry can work on the Ti mod for these as time rolls on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks bro. The tubes are CCC berg tubes modded to fit the ax housing. I'm sure this is something that will get a lot of attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So what will you use to stop the tubes from twisting or pulling out?

| Re: Crawl's" Sucker Punch to a full on Boxer" build And you know I like that about you. This axle is in no way shape or form an insult to any other sponsors nor was I being a dick to you. Instead of viewing it as a " tube replacement, it's truly a new sporty axle that will be sold as such. I support it not only for it innovative design but also because Barry deserves to have an idea be HIS. This was a well thought out idea and I'm happy to be apart of the changes at CCC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

John, I am flattered! I guess I have done a great job of keeping everything hidden. I think and think about how I want things laid out and what gives the cleanest appearance and strongest results. I have discovered what causes failures and where things will break and do what I can to keep it strong and light at the same time. If the Axial housing wasn't so cheap it would be a complete CCC axle. I have had something like this in my wish list for almost a year now but with David wanting a fix for his wheels and spacers issues I decided to see if this would work. I am happy with the results and I have a couple more things to try and refine as time goes by........I am sure you will get to see this thing in the near future and see for yourself.

| Re: Crawl's" Sucker Punch to a full on Boxer" build There have been a number of cool things to happen with this rear axle. I need to wait a day or 2 to show the details but here is the estimated weight. I'm very excited to show y'all what's going on inside of there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Awesome David, That rear axle is really cool. I run a bunch of spacers currently, and don't like it. I've been thinking about going with the AR60 out back just to eliminate them. This is an interesting alternative. |

Ya buddy. I told Barry today while discussing the axles, I could see him selling a lot of complete rear axles with this set up. Interest will increase more once the guts are featured Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |
