Thinking about getting a Revolver but not sure between stubby or not, and 2200kv or 2500kv
Rig is pushing the 8lb threshold, not sure of exact weight yet as it's still a work in progress
Battery is a 3S
I'm leaning towards the 2200kv but only seems to be available at HH and says "may take 1-2 weeks for processing"
Likely also will drop a P tooth from 11 to 10 while I'm swapping so that makes me lean to the 2500kv
Stubby or not really is indifferent as plenty of space for either. Either way I plan on shortening the motor leads to clean up all the excess wire in the cockpit. The ESC is mounted on the "firewall" just above the trans.
Love the audible feedback of these!
Holmes and Castle recommends the following for that ESC:

"Revolver 1800kv max 3 cell 1400kv max 4 cell"

Lest you think 1800kv is not enough, I run one in a heavily upgraded Bomber (pay special attention to the word HEAVY, lol) with a Mamba X, and it has plenty of power...

Funny, I was just coming back to edit my post. I see HH doesn't recommend the stubby for the Capra. So that solves that.
Also was going to add I could be swayed to the 1800kv
While being happy with the available wheelspeed on tap with the Slate 2280kv, going lower would still be plenty for crawling.
Thanks man!

I'm running a Spektrum Firma/2100Kv sensored combo in my 4WS. This Kv is perfect for traveling to the rocks and then crawling them.

Yeah, I'm thinking 2200kv is the way to go. My 2280kv now is great for a little non-crawling/off the rocks fun.
Great looking Capra ya got there. Those Treal wheels are sweet.

Roger that, just finishing up a couple things and then I'll be starting a thread. With pics even. Should be pretty good if all works out...
These are the Treals I got, along with some of their brass goodies
