Unless I missed something it says that price is for each cover. Still not a bad price. I'd like to see a cover with a 2" OD instead of one that fits inside those terrible stock wheels. 2" will fit inside a lot of aftermarket wheels with ease.

Ok, this took a LOT longer than I expected it to (remember, the Capra IS my first crawler), but the special interior I've been working on for the past 3-4 weeks is finished...FINALLY. Unfortunately, since certain things need to dry, I won't be able to install it today (or tomorrow...working sun up, to long after sun goes down).

Will get everything together Monday morning...then, come Tuesday (first full day off in 10 days), it's time to get her (him? them?) outside for it's first true test...plus, it'll be "photo day". I won't be doing a 'build thread' (per se), as there's already been several (plus, being a 'newb', think I'll hold off on 'build threads' until at least my second crawler), but I will be posting a thread, primarily because of the "theme" (and the interior).

Coming soon: "A Black Cat, and a White Goat"

dang already out of stock. Hopefully he restocks soon, that’s a good price and nice weight.

Looks like he has an aluminum transmission case too

Yep. I’d scoop up a set if he’d do them bigger for 2.2 wheels.

Just curious about something. Considering 2.2 wheels already weight considerably more than 1.9 wheels, wouldn't these weights be enough (in 2.2 wheels)? For example, the 2.2 Vanquish Method weighs 105g. If these brass weights weigh 85g, then that's already coming close to doubling the weight at each of The two front corners, at least in regards to machined wheels & these portal weights.

Think there’s enough meat in those side lobes for someone to drill it out to accept tungsten slugs on either side?

Not everyone wants/runs big metal beadlock wheels.

Bingo. Aluminium wheels are heavy and they don't fit the stuff I want to put in them.

4 CI 6 bolts with hardware and .350 hubs weighs less than 1 VP wheel with no hub or hardware.

Interesting. Going to have to try this on the Capra. Most my wheels are 55-70g per so that would be a big change.

For anyone who's interested, you should watch these videos: Jackie Builds a Capra - LIVE

https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/top...ink_source=app

Take a sales/support person who knows almost nothing about RCs, and who had never built a kit before, give that person the Axial Capra kit to build, and film the person while they're building it. Think of it as part "comedy", part "drama", and 100% educational.

Mine, or Jackie's. If Jackie's, I'm sure it'll be coming in one of the final episodes. If mine, the interior is finally finished, & I'm hoping to get the thread posted this coming Tuesday.

Yours. Waiting on it. I’d love to see some new takes asides from my simple paint job.
