So both are good then? They will both handle the horsepower and abuse? I think I want both dig and burn, but in all reality I like the idea of running the trans so I can have 2wd in the rwd format for go fast mode. Who knows, is this "option" even worth the hassle??? Or, keep it simple like 99% of those out there?

They're meant for crawlers, lol. Not sure if anyone is running them in go fast bashers. Don't get me wrong, I'm running a mamba X with either a roc412 3100kv or holmes puller 3500kv. But will be strictly a crawler.

I just remembered the new GOM, its new tranny has dig, 1st, and 2nd gear. That might be something to consider. But you can't run 2 of them.

Gom????? I want to crawl, but mine will also be able to handle some serious speed.

Yes, a gmade gom. Its a new rig. Its a bulky trans/tcase, but its another option since it has dig and 2spd.
