you can if you run in lots of water, and it would protect them well, i didnt because i dont run in lots of water and its a mess.

Be careful with overpacking the grease, it can rob power. The thicker marine grease made mine a lot slower when I had it packed full. All you need us a good coating if all the moving parts.

so i still have to decide what combo to get for a motor and speed control, i know im going to get a waterproff brxl, but im not sure what motor combo to go with. I was thinking of the 10t puller combo, but then i would have to upgrade the drive shafts, but would i have to upgrade anything else?
i also was considering the sport combo, but how long will the motor last?

I am running a scx10 with a 10t and a lot of stock parts. Actually driveshafts have held up too, about 5 big battery packs run. However I adjusted my clutch a lot, I worry that a bind would break stuff quick I will tighten it up when I install my steel gears and whatnot...

i am running a BRXL and a tourqe master pro 30t and its a great mix of tourqe and wheel speed!

a 10t would have a lotta low end balls for an scx-10 an yes the drive shafts would go bye bye if you go it bound up.

ok so hows the wheelspeed with a 2s in it?
so if i got mip drive shafts would that be all i need?
(thats with the 10t)
is the 35t sport motor any good?
if i were to buy the pro i just would rather spend the extra $10 to go with a puller combo and upgrade as stuff breaks.

with a 2s and a 20t pinion and stock spur it runs a very fast walk to slow jog at WOT, and tourqe wise its snapped cv pins, and put a nice twist in the plastic shafts before i swapped to MIP's.

either way I would get MIP shafts and not worry, but the 10t is just a monster for this rig, I find the 30t to be the perfect all around motor on 2s for trails, rocks, and when I have got in a little mud. any more wheel speed would just get me into trouble, and any more tourqe I think the tranny out drives would be next.

here is my pile of broken things as a result of having this 30t

(kunckles and C's went when the cv pins bent/ broke)

if you got express from HH you would more than likely have it by then, but if just reg. shipping probaly early next week.

I think I might just see how the 10t does in mine tomorrow if i get some time just for S&G's!

as for the 55t, it will be slooooooooowwww but still get ya by!

yup, just gonna be slow, but if you have a tall pinion (like a 23 or 24t) i would put that on to get a little wheel speed out of it.
