If you happen to have any front spring mounts or shackles floating around that would be nice.
I made new spring mounts for the axles from 1/8" heat treated aluminum.

I do have all that on the website under the blow out section. The leaf mounts themselves I am out of.

I ordered a set of front hangers since they are pretty beat. I'll get some shackles after the holidays.
Thanks Will!

Thought I would share a pic of the box the rig was shipped to me in. I'm really surprised that there wasn't more breakage then the rear roll pan and 1 tail light with the size of the box it was shipped in. You can see the body is actually longer then the box by 1/4" or more.

There was also one wrap of bubble wrap around the truck like that was gonna help.

And here's a pic of the spring plates and shackle that was cut for some odd reason.

The holes were so far off that you could only install one screw in the spring.

For some reason there was a screw missing from one of the front knuckles which I replaced.

The new spring plates I made tonight. They're not real pretty but they are straight and the holes line up.

You can see the crack in the roll pan in that last pic.

And this is how she sits after a couple hours of tooling and reconfiguring.

Looks like I'm going to have to do a little front fender trimming to clear the Baja MTZ's.

I decided to mount up the bumpers, the tranny and install the drive lines tonight. While I was at it I went ahead and removed the 450 hubs and reinstalled the 225 hubs to narrow the truck up a bit which will reduce the amount of shaving I'll have to do to the front fender and make it C1 legal.

And the mandatory flex shot...

I was able to tool on the Hilux a little today and made a new electronics plate to mount the winch and other electronics.

I had to make some 1/4" spacers for the servo so the horn would clear the chassis. Seems I have to do this anytime I use a Savox servo.

I had to put a add up for a dead 3 Racing winch since I must have used the last one I had on another rig.

I need to find those rear quarter decals to complete the look of your 1:1.
I'll get a small RC4WD light bar for the front bumper like the one you have mounted up as well.

Thanks for the inspiration pic Will!

Well I was sitting here at the computer this morning and just happened to look out the front window to see a package sitting there from RPP Hobby with my interior parts.

As soon as it warmed up a bit I got right to it. I first test fit the interior to make sure it cleared the tranny...perfect fit!
After that I shot the interior with flat black and then started to lay out the gauges and BOWTIE decals before drilling into the interior.
I still have a little paint detail to do but it is good to go.

A couple poser pics with the wind shield and interior installed.

Turns out the paint William used on the body is the same paint he used on the 1:1 so he's going to send me some to paint the rear window.

Small update...

Yesterday the 3Racing dummy winch I purchased from 322 arrived so I was able to get that buttoned up.

I also had a little bit of time last night to get the rest of the electronics installed. I still need to seal up the project box that the bec and RX are in but it's ready to go.

I have some extra leaf springs coming from Rckcrwlr and 1BadJeepBruiser so I have a couple spares and to replace the front springs which have seen better days. Thanks guys!
