Thanks Greg, Tamiya Ferrari Red. I ordered a snorkel but I ordered the wrong one. Will have to order the right one and get the mirrors on too.

I originally put the servo on the chassis but I didn't like it there. I couldn't get the steering to travel as much as I wanted so I put the servo on the axle. Now I have much more. I will have to do the XR mod some day when I get brave.

Yes, I'm going to have to re-visit that option very soon. Thanks for the offer to help. I'm going to pay Bruce another visit soon, gather the other parts needed and then we can plan a day for me to make a road trip your way.

I got the mirrors installed this afternoon, I went back to the amber lenses also. Now that the sun is in the rear yard, you can see the actual paint color. Needs some stacks.

I'd enjoy that Joe... I could do your way too...good excuse to see the grandkids

Are you running 1.9's ? The amber lenses set off nice with that Ferrari red

Yes they are 1.9's. Lockedup RC Adversary wheels with the Proline TSL SX tires. They look like 2.2 don't they. I like the extra height.

If you want to come this way to see the kids, that would be OK too.

Good Sir,

Could you share with me how much shorter the cab is to the Hilux cab, you mentioned it was a little shorter...looks like maybe a half inch or so just eyeballing it.

Where did you find that body please ??? Thinking of using that body in a future build...

Thanks in advance

Sure,I measured from the rear of the cab to the end of the fender.

The F-350 is 8 3/8". It has a lip, shelf, that protrudes from the rear of the cab and it is 1/2" wide and sits 1" below the bottom of the rear window.

The Mojave cab is 9 5/8".

I purchased the cab and bed from Rpp. That's the only way it comes I believe.

Need anything else let me know.

Wow, that's 1-1/4" difference...that's significant. Was the ford dimension including that lip or not? I did see the lip in one of your pics....
I have to tell the chassis builder what the difference is...he has a Hilux cab and he wants the headache bar to be right off the cab back...no gap if you now what I mean...I could trim that lip off.

Thanks Joe
