I used a piece of .25" thick aluminum, cut out a slot for the servo, mounted the servo to the plate and mounted the plate to the chassis. I can try and get some pictures up tomorrow some time.

That's what I'd call a "no flex" servo mount, seriously beefy

I could have just used two tabs but I wanted the frame rails to be braced too.

RC4WD AX2 2 Speed Transmission for Axial Wraith & SCX10/Honcho. I have one in one of my other trucks and now I can't live without it.

I've been noticing that this truck was starting to get a little heavy, so I weighed it.....Just over 7 lbs.

I like your 50's panel truck. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thinking of trying a Parma 57 chevy truck body.

Made some wheel wells.

And because I spend a lot of time on my roof, new floor.

Are you going for Scale Looks or Trail Performance (or most likely a mixture of the two)?
It's coming along great and with every update I wish more that the coming Christmas Santa will deliver this VERY vehicle, EVEN IF IT WASN'T COMPLETE!!!!

Trail performance is more important than the scale looks, but the more scale the better.

I just hope I don't screw up the paint. It might be a little bit before I get to the paint. I need a new air brush. Maybe I'll have to use rattle cans.

You're really cranking up production on this one. What ever happened to "I have all winter"??? ( ) for leaving me in the dust!

Even though I'm envious as hell over this one, I gotta say well done sir .

"Trail performance is more important than the scale looks, but the more scale the better".

Hell yeah!

Yeah, I'm going a little faster than I had planned, but the weather has been so shitty every weekend.
"( ) for leaving me in the dust!" This coming from the guy who had all year and still only has 2 trucks running.

I'll have to find some other things to build this winter.

Oh yeah, just ordered some super bright lights too.
