Great looking bumpers, an old military type trailer would look good behind your truck. |

I was leaning towards a matte grayish blue, kinda give it a faded light blue color. The inner wheel wells aren't the right size but I like to put them in all my trucks for the fact that it helps keep out a lot of dirt. It also keeps you from seeing through the truck. I wish I had something for you guys, but Christmas is coming up and I gotta watch my pennies for a little while. I did get some lights in the mail today, only a 3 light set up but they are gonna be BRIGHT! | |

For those of you that were wondering what magnets I was using these are them....got them at Home Depot. I managed to squirt some paint. Painted the silver and black on the inside for the metal look when the paint scratches off. That's all I got. I'm terrified of the rest of the paint, not sure if it's gonna turn out. |

Painting the exterior shouldn't be too scary since it's easy enough to recoat it. It's definitely coming together nicely though . A faded Jack Daniels logo on each door would look sweet! Kinda like an old timey 'shine runner.

I've got a question for you guys. I have a 4 channel receiver and I want to run a winch and lights and a two speed trans. Can I run the lights and the winch off of the same channel? |

| Re: 1950 Chev Panel Truck If it were me, I'd just do a simple Y-harness tie-in and have the lights on whenever your receiver is getting power. (all receivers I've ever seen have had the pos. on a common bus down the middle and all negs. on a common bus closest to the case edge, so it shouldn't matter which channel you piggy-back) If you have a controller and want to turn them on and off, then no, you've got too many channels. But to just draw power off from any channel, you should be okay with a piggy-back. IME. . |

By the looks of that, if you pull it off nicely, your rig'll look AWESOME,

Go to the SCX10 picture archive, page 93 half way down there is a yellow Honcho with the type of exterior rust effect your looking for. And its real rust ! |
