Ya i was reading how to align the drive shafts wrong, double check my readings and saw the mistake. But turned out they were still aligned correctly.

Going to pull the lift off here in a hour or so see what happens

After watching the movie I would also have to agree I don't see anything wrong with how it runs/drives. When it is lifted the slight pause is normal to these types of drivelines. There is a lot of gearlash to fill when everything is unloaded. Mine will almost stop the wheels and then roll and stop when lifted. I think you might be to concerned about something that is just a normal condition to these scx's

4 hours on the trails, plenty of flips, bunch of hill climbs and some donuts ontop of a frozen lake. didn't notice any performance flaws. o'well just a little noise and the hop seem to have subsided a little.

I just got a new set of straight axles AX30421 for a new set of curries I just got and they are not perfectly straight so they cause the locker to "hop" as the rotate inside of the bearings. I removed the stock set from my original axles and found one to be straight and the other is warped but not as bad as the two brand new ones. I plan on contacting axial. Thought this could be your problem.
