Wow, thanks for taking the time to look through my threads. Glad you appreciate them despite the budget. This land rover will be a keeper, will definitely not be changing this body out after a few months!!

Done some detail work to the body and changed out the pro10 for my proline denali beadlocks. Painted the wheel arches and behind the grille matte black, attached the snorkel, mounted the wing mirrors and made a small aerial. Added some stickers to break up the white, i like it

To do:
Finish the front bumper, make some headlights, figure out how to mount the interior and make inner wheel arches

Flexing on the garlic pot lol

These wheels have a little less offset than the pro10's so the tires tuck into wheel arches a bit more now

Thanks for looking

More progress on the front bumper. Got the side parts almost made, just to shape them. But I got them mounted to the centre mount of the bumper. They're made out of 12mmx12mm solid box aluminium and i tapered them with an angle grinder.

Two m3 bolts hold them on

Drilled and taped, the tricky bit was matching the bolt pattern on the the centre mount

This is the last bit of machining i need to do to get the top profile

Tucks tight and high against the body

One last pic

Thanks for looking

Vanquish 1.9 OMF in black/blue/black = Perfect!! Even though there are soo many tiny screws, you only need to undo 4 bigger screws on the back to take the wheel apart!! Great design

I've got them on the 225 hubs to bring the track width in, the tire coverage is very similar to that of my 1:1 landy

Anywho here are the pictures

I've got some holiday coming up so I can get started on the custom work
Thanks everyone for following my build

I'm diggin the end result. The body is nice and the wheels are bad. Get some scale hardware on those from LURC

Glad you like her sir, those are my dream wheels right there I'd love some locked up bolts but with the stupid expense of shipping and custom fees I just can't justify it

Been doing a bit of detail to the landy these past few days

Made an aluminium skid plate for the rear

Got some RC4WD fog and reverse lights that mimic the real thing perfectly and also got land rover badges

Got lights in the works again, headlights!! Just need to make some brackets as I want them chassis mounted rather than body mounted

Warn aluminium fairlead for the front bumper, managed to slot the bumper as well. Yes the bumper should be finished over the weekend

Rubbish picture but got the interior in, well most of it!! Had to remove the floor and slot the center console for the spur gear but it's better than nothing haha

Cut up some rubber and made truck bed lining , looks better than what the picture shows

Garlic pot shenanigans

Thanks looking everyone, once I get the bumper and lights done I will be taking out for a good trail run!!

Got it all finished for the most part, really chuffed with how it all turned out

I painted the sliders, front bumper and rear cross member in car stone chip as it adheres well to aluminium and goes of very hard, gives a good matte finish as well!!

Made the light brackets out of aluminium angle and bolts to the chassis, make body removal so much easier

And to top it off I got you lot a bunch of lovely HDR outdoor pictures, enjoy

Interior don't look half bad in this picture

Lights, adds such a nice realism to it

Nice and simple brackets

With big sister

Thanks for looking everyone and wish you all a Happy and Merry Christmas

Took it out today, it was very wet and boggy and as a result of all the full throttle assults I broke a pin in the axial cvd. So it was 3 wheel drive for about a 1/3 of the journey. It's incredible how much the performance is limited when power is cut to one of the wheels...

Thanks for looking
