I've had very good luck with proline swampers in the wet. I run the xl's on my wraith.

For my wroncho I used a wraith skid and rear links. For the front I used scx 10 uppers and made my lowers. I changed the springs to super soft and run a 30 % up travel 70 % down travel. Check out my wroncho build.

Went ahead and ordered a set of Pitbull Rock Beasts II tires along with some crawler innovations foam. I went with soft fronts and medium rears, Looking forward to seeing the difference.

You're going to love RBIIs on CI foams. Smart going medium foam on the rear. Keep the good pics coming.

well started to fit the wraith skid into the scx10 frame rails. Fits in well enough, then I mounted the transmission and new holmes hobby motor. plan on working on it more tonight.

Okay! I got the shock towers bolted up, planning on making some cross members tomorrow at work. I am waiting on a hand full of parts to continue putting this thing back together. I have coming are a full set of VP Titanium wraith links and steering, under drive gear set for the rear axle, ScalerFab bumpers that I now have to make fit on the wider frame rails, and the RBII tires and CI foams.

With that being said I got my new shocks in, so spend tonight building them. I went with the Gmade XD Diaphragm in the 103mm size. I will see how they work but I may have to extend the shock towers to keep this thing as low as possible, which was kind of the goal from the start...anywho

These shocks went together rather easy for the first time building shocks.

A couple reasons. First was i wanted a longer wheelbase and this was the easiest solution, plus I could just purchase a set of VP links and not have to make my own.

Second was along the lines with the first as I was having driveline and links contacting each other during articulation.

Other than that I just wanted to do it haha!

Of course the one day I dont bring my rig to work is the day I get my tires and foams in. The RBII and Ci foams are top notch, cant wait to run them!

Little comparison next to a ripsaw

Its back together, still want to make some shock tabs that will lower the whole rig. Its way to tall for my liking, But I will see how it works tomorrow on the rocks!

Chassis all together:

VP Titanium steering:

VP Titanium Link set:

Got the rear bumper on with out any issues, I still have to make a front spacer so the front bumper clears the servo.

Hit Lucia Falls again today with my roommate and his wraith. the deadbolt did awesome! The new tires and foams made this thing a whole new animal, along with the extra wheelbase and the crawl-ability of the 30t motor.

Everything was going so well until i rolled on an obstacle and landing square on the tire and detonated the stock plastic servo gears...good thing I already have a Hi-Tec 7950 and a Castle BEC arriving monday!

this build keeps snowballing...i finally said screw it and ordered a wraith chassis to swap everything over.

For now i will chop up the deadbolt body as it's already broken in a few spots and fit it over the wraith chassis. but my end goal is pick up a clod body for it.

Ok, while I wait for the wraith chassis to show up I chopped up the deadbolt body and fit it to my roommates wraith. Still need to cut the hood off so I can easily access the battery.

Honestsly nothing really major, still a few fitment issues with the whole wroncho thing. the skid plate fixed a good chunk of the issues when I installed it. Swapping to the wraith chassis will fix the rest of those little issues.

as this is my first rc crawler it's kind of a big trial and error to see where this build will go and how I want it set up.

plus then I will have a full rolling scx10 chassis that I need to do something about

Got my servo, BEC, servo horn, and under drive gears.

You're definitely on the right path with the mods. I did a lot of the same things you've done with various builds and all had very positive results. I really like how that Deadbolt body looks on that Wraith cage.

Ok, Got the wraith chassis built. Taking it into work tomorrow to wire everything up and get it running again. Already chopped the back of the cage off and will put some links back there tomorrow. Also for those curious I will be putting a spawn interior in for now.

I also ordered a Lowering kit to keep this thing as low as i can, I also found a Nukizer body that I picked up that will go on this chassis eventually...Still want to keep the deadbolt body for a while.

got my servo, bec, and ae-2 all wired up, still need to figure out how I'm going to install it all.

I also painted the aluminum roof and installed the links for the fastback part of the cage.

Im dying to see what the Nukizer body will look like on a Wraith. Lucky you found one. Looks sweet the way it sits now too.

thanks, i plan on getting the Nukizer cut out this weekend, I'm going to take my time with it. last thing I want is to rush it and cut too much or the wrong section.

I think i have settled on a paint scheme, hopefullytlet this turns out as well as i imagine it.
