No, nothing wrong with the old wheels. I just wanted a narrower wheel and wanted a metal wheel. Other then that the others worked out great.

upgraded my chubs and knuckles to VP parts! These things are amazing, but thats what you get with VP

And for how much I LOVED the nukizer body but the why I drive and lexan DO NOT MIX, this thing after a month of wheeling is done for... there is about a 2 inch crack on both sides behind where it meets the bed. The pops of broken lexan and crunching of the bed finally got to me, I may be able to salvage the Nukizer for another project or chop up and put back on this puppy. Any way...picked up some AMF aluminum body panels and hood, really like the way it turned out. At least I know these panels will take some abuse...still sad to see the nukizer go though.

painted the body, was a cold day out on the rocks.

there ended up being a few others out there today, meet up and crawled together for a while. Its really cool to be able to meet some other cool people out on the rocks.

Got my SSD front axle in today. Love this thing, A touch more ground clearance compared to my roommates Currie axles.

Are you going to replace the rear axle too with the diamond? I've been thinking about going to the SSD diamond axles with centered rear myself.

Axles look great. Not as eye appealing as the Currie's IMO, but for the price comparison, I like them.

What's next on the build?

LOVE Lacamas(round lake) and Lucia. Your pics look like there up on top in the Lilly fields area. Tons of great places there. We did a comp up there last year. Was a blast. I e got weekends off again and lookin to go driving. Send me a message of you are up to go. I've driven with a couple others from these forums at Lacams a lot. We could get a good size group to go trailing.
