| 4WS and BEC
I'm planning on building a 4 Wheel Steering Wraith using 2x Traxxas 2075 Servos and the Axial AE-2 ESC. The Castle Creations BEC doesn't support 'Lipo Cut Off' but the ESC does. After reading as much as I can on the forum. I'm thinking if I wire my system as per my plan below I should get Lipo Protection and enough power for the 2nd servo. I'd appreciate confirmation that I'm doing this correctly! |

You're better off to just plug the BEC into the RX and unplug the red wire to the ESC. This is covered in detail in the beginners guide, including diagrams.

Harley, Thanks for your response. I read the great beginners guide that you have created I'm concerned that if I connect the BEC to the Rx and disconnect the red wire to the ESC then I will not have Lipo Cut-Off. I want to use a Lipo but I don't think the Castle BEC has Lipo Cut-Off. This is new to me - Will I still have Lipo Cut-Off if I connect everything up as you have suggested? |

The cutoff will stop the motor. The servos could still move but who cares, when the truck stops then go unplug it. Don't get too worried about it.

Harley, Thank You! Ahh, so the ESC cuts power to the motor and so the Lipo is still protected. I understand now! |
