hi there katan, i love this trans, but i live in brasil, fortaleza city in ceara state.
I would like to know whats the price of the trans and the price of the shipping.
I use a castle creations motor 2400kv, will it have enought low end for crawling? And speed for foffing? I am running it with 2s right now i know its nod ideal to crawl but it only has a litle cogging in the start and as i use a 2s its very litlle so i think this trans will help me out and will make the motor usable, and to foff i can put a 4s lipo to get the speed i want and also put a bigger pinion, nowadays i am using stock spur and pinion, but for foffing i am using a 28pinion and it goes well.
I am in the doubt if i buy a tekin pro4 3300, or your trans and stick with the castle 4 pole with gobs of torque that i love, and i use it about 70% for foffing and sand and only 30% for a litle crawling... Maybe i will buy both... ;) enlighten me about this, and help me out with the price, lots of people is asking this, if you make it a litle more cheaper lots of other people will buy it and you can earn more money on the quantity, and parts you are going to sell.
Think about it. And please tell me the price that it is right now.
The tekin pro4 its 149.99
best regards

Replace the Delrin spur gear with Robinson Racing steel and I'll buy two. Also, how about a billet aluminum cover for the spur gear and slipper? How about some pictures of the transmission installed complete with micro servo?

to my understanding there is always a brokerage fee, its just way less then what ups or fedex would charge.

Couple questions that I think were not answered.

Does the spur hit the wraith MIP's?

Noob question,

How do you connect the 2nd servo to your stock receiver to control it or do you have to replace the radio and receiver?

Agreed 3ch for gear switching.

But way different than a nitro savage reverse module. Electric motors can go either direction, nitro motors only rotate one way.

You are correct. You only pay brokerage fees for UPS. I have bought hundreds of items from the states and NEVER EVER paid brokerage on USPS till RPP sent it the cheapest way possible causing my to pay $50 for shipping! I never get anything shipped to Canada from UPS. The last time I did I ordered a CP3 from my Cummins and I had to pay $500 at the door!

Ya I found that out right after posting....I wonder if a stock traxxas servo would work for shifting on the tranny?

Also there is no slop on the gear. The whole unit feel tight and nice.

I try my mip drive shaft. The standard one for ax or scx10 will not work as it touch the spur. However, the mip for waith has a longer adapter which should clear the spur. Will confirm when install on rig.
Yeap, MIP will fit provided you have the one for the wraith which has a longer adapter. See picture. For those who already own a MIP, I think the longer adapter is avaliable alone. See MIP website. See also my home made servo mount for Hitec HS225MG, I used 10mm square delrin rod and use the existing hole on the plate.
