Well, I have enjoyed the crap outta this rig but it is plagued with axle issues. The dog bones and CVD's simply can not handle the mega torque Ive been throwing at em.. So I could throw in a 35t and call it good or...

Even if VP releases the VVD's for the exo I still doubt the dog bone style drive cup from the diff will hold for long. So Im fixing this one way or another If this works out how I plan then my exo should be bullet proof

Couple pics..

I thought of that. Im thinking of using some sort of internal spring set-up or maybe different smaller diameter shocks. You are right, its close as hell..

Im willing to trade some suspension performance for the strength.

Suspension performance is the whole reason for the IFS conversion.

Even after I just bought 60 dollars worth of longer MIP male shafts Ill still be under 200 bucks that 2 pairs of VP VVD's would have cost me. If they were available that is.. And after seeing all of the broken VVD's lately I think Im making the right decision..

Thanks! I really enjoy wrenching on this thing as much as driving it.

Can anyone recommend a nice internal spring shock with good dampening? The pro-line shocks wont work with an internal spring due to the bladder design.

Right now I'm waiting for my longer MIP shafts to arrive so I can get the drive train wrapped up.
