I haven't run it personally, but a lot of the guys I crawl with have them and love them. They are a little noisy, but for $17, you can't beat them!

Funny, I stopped in at RPP a few weeks ago while up there.
Occasionally I get to go to Eureka, Arcata and crescent city too.

Where did you mount your BRXL? I'm trying to find a good location for mine it doesn't seem like it wants to fit in the tunnel of the floorboard.

Im not sure where he mounted his....since he has kept his build off limits to our sticky muddy hands... But I believe one of the most popular areas is up front and mounting your battery horizontally with the front fire wall (sideways). Hope this helps.

For now it's in the stock location, using the stock bracket. Once I get the rear cage cut out and make some room, I'll likely move the BR-XL back there.

Alright thanks for the info. Would there be any issues mounting in directly ontop of the receiver box in the front? There is plenty of clearance to the hood. I just didn't know about heat or if that gets warm

Never thought about that. Heat shouldn't be a problem. Let me know if you do this - would be interested to see. I didn't think there was enough clearance up there.
