If your gonna make a basher/racer, I would say you can go wider if you want. I went with narrow as possible to try and keep a scale look. If I was gonna race it I wouldve kept the 15.5 width for better stability and steering (mine steers good, but with wideners could out steer my clod racers!)

Started working on the side sponsor plates last night....also need to figure out a way to mount the fake motor and fab up a fuel cell for the front...Im not going to do a driver cockpit anytime soon, as this truck is a runner and I want the space for electronics.

Hopefully I can start upgrading the axles with VP products soon too..first will be the aluminum steering knuckles and steering setup, and the rear straight axles...at tax time I want to get the aluminum axle housings..

Very nice!

Funny thing is there's now a 1:1 Bigfoot electric in development:

Wonder if it's Castle or Tekin powered

Sick video. I wonder how the power compares to a gas engine monster truck

Tinkered with the Powerstroke shocks this weekend and found a setup I like...The stock springs that were on it where medium (yellow) for main spring and soft (green) for the smaller "dual rate" Spring..It felt a little stiff so I decided to change it around..I had picked up 1 spring assortment kit and put Green Springs in the rear with super soft (blue) "dual rate" springs, and in the front I used Blue main and "dual rate" springs...I tuned them to have very little if any rebound. The suspension feels really soft now and I might add a sway bar on the rear links... Tested it out in the house because its been off and on raining for the past few days..This weekend we will have our race and Ill take it out there to run it like I was gonna do last weekend.

OK ran into an issuse...the new Bigfoot 18 body doesnt fit...my friend used a different body and it looks waaaaay better but it doesnt fit...so Im gonna use it for something else...I did notice sum Monster Jam trucks are using this body so maybe ill change it in the future to one of those with the old body he used..

I did get to test out the shocks at the track and they are awesome..looks like the truck is floating across the track...

I also started another MT Clod Bigfoot build...the chassis was made by a friend using a CAD program and we are gonna do one for a Wraith setup next
