|  Novak Gear noise
I just got a set of Novak pinions. I'm running a team associated 87t spur. When I put on the 11t Novak pinion, it is loud!! Lots of gear noise. Do I tried the 15T. Same deal. I swap in the axial stock 20T. Much quieter. Is this normal? Is it just because of the lower gear ratio or is it the gear material? Who makes a nice, quiet pinion? I took the motor off. Not drivetrain noise. And it's not the motor. It's between the pinion and spur. Crazy |

Sounds like some pinions are louder than others from what I've read on here. So maybe I'm not crazy.
