| Help me troubleshoot
Was driving the wraith up a trail today. All of a sudden, it slowed, slowed and stopped. Still had steering but no throttle. Seemed way too soon for the battery to be dead but figured it could be possible. Fresh battery, same thing. Steering, no motor. Setup is stock Axial 20T motor, Axial ESC, Spektrum receiver. Servo is run directly from battery with BEC. The ESC blinks red/green when throttle/reverse is applied. The ESC does not jingle when first turned on. No motor movement or sound. Is this a dead motor or ESC? |

Sounds like dead motor. i just had this same problem after a trail run that included a creek crossing. The brushes were hot and then when they were submerged they shattered. Soon after the immersion the vehicle slowed down and finally quit. When I got home and took the motor out chunks of the brushes came out. Hope this helps!

Sure enough. Motor was toast. Ordered a Holmes TorqueMaster sport 45T on Tuesday night. Got it yesterday. Awesome! Pure Crawler |
