Default aqwik69's Wraith build thread....

Thought I would share my 1st ground up build. Instead of buying RTR and modifying extensively as I go, this one is starting out with some good stuff, with more being added soon. I started on it last night....hoping to test it out tomorrow sometime.

Wraith Kit
RC4WD AX2 2sp transmission
Tekin Pro4 4600kv
Castle MMP
3s LiPo power
VP stage 1
VP racing ackerman steering arms
VP CMS & Panhard
VP Titanium upper and lower link kit
VP racing ackerman titanium steering link
VP no slop lockers
BPC front mount battery tray/winch tray
645MG servo winch
GMade piggyback XD103
MIP driveshafts

More to come!

Looks good dude
I ran 62t traxxas spur and 11t rrp pinion and it worked well with the Pro 4 3300kv .
I'd get the hardened 2 speed outputs , Mine died rather quickly and was another reason I went single speed

I wanted the spur gear towards the rear, to put the motor towards the front so the weight stays in the front. Probably not as important on the wraith as it is in the honchos, but I like to be consistent. The 2speed I'm running, can not be flipped like a stock trans, so with reversing the transmission direction, the axles have to be done as well.

Took the wraith to its first Scale Endurance run today with the GSRCC crew. I was way happy with how well it ran.

Of course, my scale driver did not arrive in the mail until yesterday afternoon... AFTER the GSRCC event. Now, I can finish with the dash and steering wheel!
