I like the look of that gladiator tires. But what ever tire you go with I know this truck will look sweet.

They are really nice. Shon (R2j) has them on his current build. I really like them. I like how the Compass is a little more agro though. To me, that fits this particular build a little better. That's completely subjective though... and may change when I see all of the tires in person, next to one another.

Brian...I just put the Mad Beasts on my Red Cow G6. They are sick. The compound is super sticky. I highly recommend them. Nice choice of wheels too.

Well, I was going to take a picture of the axle for y'all, but I passed it off to Shon (R2j) along with the chassis to get the custom links measured and machined. Hopefully I'll get it back soon.

  • Pit Bull Mad Beast (4.65 OD)
  • RC4WD Compass (4.75 OD)
  • RC4WD Gladiator (4.57 OD)

Pit Bull Mad Beast
Specifications:
- 4.65 OD
- 1.52 OW
- 1.91 TW
- .125 TD

RC4WD Compass
Specifications:
- Advanced X2 SS Compound (Super Soft & Super Sticky)
- Reinforced Sidewall
- OD: 4.75in / 120mm
- Width: 1.74in / 44.4mm
- Inner Diameter: 1.88in / 47.8mm
- Each Tire Weight: 3.1oz / 89g

RC4WD Gladiator
Specifications:
- Advanced X2 SS Compound (Super Soft & Super Sticky)
- Outer Diameter:4.57in / 115.7mm
- Width:1.64in / 42mm
- Inner Diameter:1.8in / 45.8mm
- Each tire weight:2.9oz / 83g

Although I am a huge Pit Bull fan, as of now I'm leaning toward the RC4WD Compass. I like the look, and the X2 SS Compound is pretty darn nice. I did order myself some CI foams to go with whatever tire I decide to go with. CI foams are the only foams I'll roll on. I waited longer than most to try them, and I can honestly say that was a mistake....

I almost forgot.... I'm going to be using Motoworx's new 1.9 6 Spoke SLW wheels with either 225 or 350 VP SLW hubs.
Those new Motoworx wheels are beautiful! How much doe they weigh per wheel with hardware? EDIT: What size is the lock ring hardware?

For tires I like the Gladiator, then the Madbeast, and lastly the Compass (great looking tire just too tall for 1.9 imo).

Go with the Mad Beasts and CI foams. Love mine on the Red Cow.

The SCX axles weren't a good fit. She's going to be a Wraith through and through. I went with 2.2 RC4WD Two Face Tires and CI Foams. Of course, they're just sitting on my bench feeling lonely and sorry for them selves... LOL
