Have made a few small tweaks before todays practice. Added about 55g to the front wheels using lead sheets. 2 full wraps in the channeled groove and 2 full wraps in full width. This brings the front wheels to a total of 365g with Boss Claws and Nova 5.25" Double Deuce foams: Keeping the rears unweighted for todays practice at a total of 175g: I also added some 3M chassis protection tape to the motors and rounded off all the edges on the links and some on the skid plate Bent |

The shock and link mounts on these axles are wider than Bergs as well... Did you use longer rod ends to make up the difference or did you make longer front links? |

Everything had to be slightly extended I have used Traxxas Jato Rod Ends where the lower links connect to the chassis. This puts the wheelbase at 12.5" resting under it's own weight. It will however extend to a few millimeters beyond the 12.5" mark when pushed down. But the rules here in Norway dictates that the wheelbase should be measured when resting under it's own weight Bent

I guess a small update on the XR10 Moonbuggy is in order Hot racing aluminum transmission case and motor plate, reinforced lightweight gears, lockouts and c-hubs along with Vanquish Zero ackermann knuckles: This is what met my eyes as I opened the transmission case. The ball bearing for the transfer gear was totally shattered to pieces. I guess I'll do the 9mm bearing mod until VP has the new cases out Pretty pleased with the steering angle on the new setup Just need to get hold of a longer Robitronic servo arm as my Racers Edge is too short. EPA is now set to 120% (max) and 115% I also swapped my 4PK for the new 4PK Super along with a couple of the new tiny receivers And finally a few poser shots with the new updated sKinz: Bent Last edited by BentKa; 10-11-2010 at 04:58 PM. The fit and finish is actually great except for the exact same slop where the flanged bearings seat. But this would easily be fixed by drilling them out to accept 9 or 10mm replacement bearings Bent

As mentioned the fit and finish is actually top notch except for the exact same slop where the flanged bearings seat. So a little work modifying the transmission case to accept a 9 or 10 mm bearing should be expected. Other than that....no complaints from me Thanks Neal. I like the updated look a lot more UPS came through and delivered before noon on friday Bent
