I just ran this setup at my regular testing spot and it seemed to perform quite well. Each weight comes in at 50g.....which means I dropped about an ounce off of each side. My bias is just a hair back from what it was before, but I'll be taking care of that soon.

I also picked up some Nordic Crawler weights and got them installed:

These are a nice, cheaper alternative to a lot of the weights out there.....and Tomy ships FAST!! 4 days from Finland to Texas.

glad it worked out good for you, looks cool

Yep, I was as well. I actually wasnt planning to run it that day.....but pulling a -30 on the first course sure made me feel like the decision to run it was a good one!

I decided to tear down my axles on this truck and make a few changes. I installed a set of the 4xFord patented design () axle inserts:

And upon rebuild, I used some of the new Wheel Works Black and Tacky gear lube:

This stuff comes in a much larger bottle than most other RC lubes out there and at a decent price!
***Wheelworks Black-n-Tacky gear oil***

I also shaved the diffs:

All buttoned up:

And I swapped in a "new" set of Boss Claws (they actually have about 10 packs on them):

This truck seems to be handling well.
