It may,

My reason for doing this is to try to get to another level, personally.

I know guys run light now, but there are only a handfull that place in the top, at their advertised weight. Really I can only think of a couple guys that place consistently top at major events.

Like I said earlier, I could put my previous setup back very easily, but I have already been there...

I want to try something new, and push myself harder.

Front axle top hole with spacers.
Front chassis one hole up from the bottom

Rear axle middle hole with spacers(top hole with no spacers)
Rear chassis one hole up from bottom.

Extreme verticle climbing is a little slower, but the descents are way more controlled, and the chassis will suck down well.

Climbs that are out of the reach of the wheelbase are easily jumpable though.

When you say with spacers are you talking about the 1/8" spacers you put under the link mounts or spacers between the link mount and the link rod ends?

so i got back from copperstate and i am very pleased with the rigs performance.

2 sub 5 lb secret agents in the top 10 aint to bad considering the amount i had on my plate and the new light weight setup.

i am really liking the way it drives and feels.

i had a few requests from some drivers ...(nabil will know what i am talkin about)

so here is the rig with something new

sitiing at 4lbs 12 oz with 5 oz of knuckle weight per front corner.
