Eddies new Vapor motors.

I have spent alot of time in Eddies shop lately and I am very impressed with his knowlage, experiance, and skill in motor building and tuning. He is innovating crawler motors. Can't wait to see whats next.

Is he going to add these to the site? Or are they a custom order only thing?

I think I remember him mentioning it. But basically all you have to do now is go to his new website and click on the deisired motor to start with. The 4 mag can is the Creep, then start adding your desired upgrades.

I got her ready to run and done for the moment. I have some knuckle weights from Tomi that should be here any day. My RTR weight is 3 pounds 14 5/8 ounces. I was a little suprised it came in that light considering I have rc4wd gears, stock shafts, and a bunch of VP stuff. But I think the lightweight Brood motors, 1/8 titanium links, and small electronic package realy help. And the hardware is all aluminum and titanium with exception of three peices. I have not had it on the rocks yet and still tuning the radio and electronics but the motors are soooooo smooooooth but still have plenty of punch.

That thing looks outstanding! Keep us updated on how the 1/8 links hold up and how much knuckle weight (if any) you have to add for best performance.

The truck looks great. I am curious about the 1/8 ti links but am thinking they will be fine on the light weight trucks. Any reason you arent using a front axle housing in the rear?

It looks great. I hope the 1/8th lowers work for you, but I suspect you will bend them at some point. I use the 1/8th for uppers and have bent one of those before. Like I said... I hope they work well for you though

Thanks. I ordered two oz of weight per side but I don't think I will use all of it becuase if feels pretty good as is. But I wont know untill I get it on the rocks.

I am happy with it. Chris the battery man aka CreationFab soldered it up and shrink wrapped it. My only concern is water, and up here we comp in the rain alot.

The guy who did up the links for me runs the same sizes on his heavier XR and his are holding up so far. As for the axle housing, no reason that I have'nt other than the fact I just have not looked into it. What are the advantages other than clearance? What are the mods needed to make it fit?

Thanks. We will have to see if they hold up along with the 1/8 steering tie rod. If I bend them I will go up to 3/16. We kept the uppers straight to avoid bending because they are so long.
