| New YXL owner
Hi Everyone. I just picked up a YXL kit to use when I break my X-maxx. I am planning to use the CC 2200 and Mamba Monster out of my E-Revo for now. Looking forward to reading the forum for tips and upgrades.

| Re: New YXL owner I love it. Probably the most fun I've had with an rc in a while. It can definitely take some abuse. When the front pinion decided to throw a couple of teeth, I threw the batts in the erevo and it just wasn't as fun. That's why I decided to get the YXL.

| Re: New YXL owner I had 2 2S/5000 batteries that I tried first. It wasn't bad, but to slow for me. Next was 2 3S/5000 and it was a little faster. I changed the gearing from 15\54 to 18\50 and it's perfect for now. Top speed = 42-43 mph.

| Re: New YXL owner Something is not wright! If you are running 18/50 with 2 3S in series, which mean 6S, will result a top speed of around 80mph If you run them in parallel, then you are right, but why run only 2S or 3S?? Usually you should run it on 4S or 6S with 15 or 18 pinion and 68 spur. How come you end up with a 50 spur? Don't you have problems with temperature?
