I was just reading your twin hammers thread. Nice build there also. What do you think of the Yeti in comparison? I think I prefer the look of the TH since it looks more scale but wondering about performance?

I liked the look of your first black panels what did you do with them... I like the look of them mounted behind the cage.

The Yeti and Hammer are 2 very different trucks for me. Both are setup more towards speed rather than crawling. The Hammers looks more scale but is more challenging to drive. It tends to grip roll a lot more and needs more concentration to drive, which can be a lot of fun! I have an open diff on the rear of the Yeti and it's great fun to drive, more of a basher than the hammers.
Could I choose one over the other...maybe the Yeti because the it's more versatile/stable. Both have their good and bad points, both need certain upgrades.

I still have the black panels, the only problem with them being behind the frame is they hold the dirt/mud and are a pain to clean!! lol!

If you decide you don't want the black ones anymore drop me I line I really liked the look of them and it would save me destroying the plastic ones that I have on now that I really like the look of.... lol I know kinda odd.

Did you by any chance keep the dimensions of the body panels?

If I remember, I just made a few cardboard templates and traced around them on to the aluminium sheet. The sheet aluminium is so thin you can easily cut it with a scissors.
