New to the area, is the OC RC club still active? Currently looking for scale type stuff, may eventually do comp, but scale crawling is what brought me back to the hobby.

We are not running a comp series this season. There is a lot of scaling going on throughout So Cal. Check the San Diego section as well as this site for more info.

We can build a scale course at Irvine Lake R/c park. I helped build the 1/5 scale track out there. Plenty of parking and right next to the lake....i also have an awesome place to crawl in Lake Forest...sand washes, single track, dry creeks and cement/rock walls...
