I'm not sure if anyone is interested or not but I went to walmart on antelope and they have a large section of new bright bodys there's the landrover lr3 jeep 2dr wrangler and an h2 or h3 I didn't look that close for 49.99 if anyone was looking for those specific bodys.

By the way, where is Rainbow Bridge at Folsom? North end of the lake?

rainbow bridge is at the W. SW side of the like. about a mile down from the dam.there is some good spots down there, id suggest sticky tires tho. much of it is smooth river rock

Hey Chris, it's the old bridge that takes you into old town (sutter st) folsom. If your coming down folsom auburn to greenback (light, union 76 on right chevron on left) you'd turn left instead of going straight over the new bridge and it's on the left on the other side of the bridge, hard to see down there going this direction. Pay parking on the right or free parking on the left. A little walk down there. I've never been but have seen guys comping down there.

I think Chris and I are going to try it on Thursday if anyone's interested. Gordy says it's kind of the same as the spots we hit in Rocklin but I've heard it was pretty good for scalers except for the walk. Either Wed or Thursday works for me and forecast looks for rain friday through sunday so I'm going to pass on modesto for sunday.

Folsom side. If you park in the parking lot on the folsom side walk towards the bridge and find a way down on the right before the footbridge. I've never been down there but should be straight forward :roll: Or we can all meet in the parking lot and go from there. If you park across the street it will be pay to park

Hey Big B no ones parting with scalers nowadays as it seems to be the hot ticket :lmao: Just picked up a mrc for my 1.9 samurai build, just waiting on the bodies to show up :roll: I'm in but where is QP? Several of us hit rocklin saturday and 3 of us hit rainbow bridge today and they were ok for about 1/2 a pack.. Give us directions to QP and we can check it out before next friday. Or Folsom Point for me seems to be 1st on the list "thumbsup"

Quarry Park is in Rocklin off of Pacific St. With that being said a couple of the guys I talked with would rather have it at Folsom Lake or Folsom Point. Iam going to scout out a few different spots to find a place to have this GTG. More details to follow"thumbsup"

Also a few posts back has some rules that Lerk posted for their comp this weekend. Kind of guidelines and not set in stone as we are pretty much still getting things together for sac :ror:

ordered my scx10 frame should b here by the weekend so i can start swapin everythg over. and got a new 45t motor and changed pinion from a 14t to 17t now i can actually walk and drive it. and it still has alot of torq. i should have it all ready with new body by the comp.

guy's, i believe the team lerk rockhard event is next sunday the 28th. i'm still trying to make it but not positive yet as my weekends are busy .

go to reconcrawlers.com and in the competitions section checkout the nevada g6 challenge. it's some kind of scaler event they are putting together and if it's anything like the AWCC scaler event it will be a blast, just ask bill, i think he was there , and it's why i bought a scaler.

Hard Body=-3
CMS=-1
Fender Wells or Interior=-1/Both=-3
Spare tire=-1/ Functioal=-2
Transfer case=-1
Full scale tuber with panels=-5/Plastic=-2
Rear caged truggy metal=-3 Plastic=-1
Leaf springs=-1/Front and rear=-3
Lights=-2 (Must be on while on coures)

Bad Scale Points
2.2 tires=-+10
Non-scale chassis=-+20
Cut down 2.2 tires=-5

Rules
Roll over=+5
Any touch- reposition=+10
Gate=+10

Reverse=+1 ( 1 free reverse per Course)
Winching out=+5
Repair on course=+5 Time running
Repair off course=+10 Time stopped ( 30 time limit)
Progression=-2 per gate

I think these rules will work out pretty good for us, they are not set in stone but we have to start somewhere. Best time and lowest points will be the winner. Notice that there is 1 free reverse per course, pick your lines carefully:mrgreen:. We will have a drivers meeting before to answer any questions. Iam thinking Oak Point or Dotens they both have plenty of places to set up a course or two. Thanks

if your stuck and use winch does that count as a touch? or would you get pentilized for it?

We're looking at the 26th, friday after thanksgiving.

If your stuck and you have a winch you can winch yourself out and only have +5 penalty compared to having to reposition. Just remember that every time you hook your winch up to something it's a +5 penalty. So if you hook your winch up and start winching and your hook comes off and you have to reattach it well cost you twice. Hope this answers your question"thumbsup"

hey bill how have you been ? i am down for the comp and just finshed going thru my kids car so there will be 2 of us . what time are we meeting ? since i dont have a old lady i have to go for the first time ever on black friday to get my kids a few things so i need to know what time you guys want to start the comp. txt me and let me know i have been very busy so not much time to get on the computer . martin i have ur interior painted just need to put it all in should have it done monday or tuesday ! sorry about the wait on it and miles your next !

Hey guys, I got a couple emails and it looks like there will be 5-6 guys who won't be able to make it out Friday but will be out at the lake Sunday for anyone else who can't make it. If not raining they said from around 9-4 which means I'll probably cruise out after church for a pack or two. They don't know which area but I can post up once I know. Friday is still ON "thumbsup"
