If you could, please let me know. I'm getting married in 2 weeks and will be out of town for work but if I can make it I will come. I have a new High Lift that I am going to start building and an old Mountaineer for which I am going to start fabricating parts. Thanks Angelo Quote:

Hey, I am going to be selling my Geolanders real soon (just the tires, not mounted if I can swing it). Anyone need a set? The only outing they have been on is the local one we just did. NluvwithXLR8ing, you better make it to one... I want to see the G. |

After the New Year, I'll start a new thread called "Sacramento, CA Area Get Together" where we will start to talk about meeting. Also, Trikster, there is a For Sale section.

I know there is a for sale section, but I figured I would give the guys I know first shot at them. Some of you have already seen them and you are local enough to do a pick-up. So... D'uh... :-P

| Sorry Trikster Sorry Kevin, thanks for letting us have the first crack at your tires. I do like them, but they are just too small for me. |

Add me to the list please. I just picked up a TLT and a 55T Lathe motor from R/C Country today. I'm gonna build it stock first and then maybe a SW2 chassis in a month or so.

As far as my TLT goes, I just finished building the chassis and one axle. Is there anything I should be doing to it now while I'm building it to make it a better crawler in stock form? Eric.

Traxxas sells some .5mm diff shims. Buy some and put one on the bevel gear on the main shaft (on the inside, slip the shim over the bevel gear shaft then install it into the bushings/bearings on the case). This will keep the alignment on the bevel gear and the diff correct so it doesn't strip so easily. I have over 6 months on my bevel gear/diffs without any signs of wear or damage. If you want to see how I did my first crawler, check out my thread here: First crawler - Stock chassis - Who needs expensive stuff... 56k beware It shows how I drilled the bevel gear to accept the Stampede sliders as well as the other mods I did to the stock frame. |
