weekends are all I can do right now - till I get lights - or the days get longer. I'm trying to get my rig done by the end of this week so I can maiden voyage it over the holiday weekend . I finally have everything, but need to finish some fab work. Either way, if something gets set up I'll show up with camera in hand and my pile of parts ...lol.

As far as where, I've been scoping sweet areas along the American River Bike Path. If any of you are familiar with it, there is some cool stuff we can try out near Sunrise - or go towards Hazel at Sailor Bar ( 1/4 mile west of the Hatchery ) - there is more I could suggest but I'll wait for some feedback.

I am interested in meeting up with ya'all also. I am open most weekends, even around the holidays. I might now a couple of other guys who could be interested.

The American river sounds like a good place to go.

theres a good spot under the northgate bridge at Garden Hwy. Tons of endless lines. Only issue is no parking anywhere close. But as far as in Sac it's the only place I've found so far.

Somewhere @ Folsom lake the Nor-Cal RCRC guys hold a comp... That might be an ideal place if we can find out where they do it. All it should cost is park admission and there would be ample parking this time of year.

I have been scouting locations in the Roseville/ROcklin area and there is one spot I have seen from the road that looks promiscing. Once final exams are done this week and I can have my wife watch our daughters, I want to head over there. There is close parking and if it looks good, there is even a creek to play in for the waterproofed.
