^^That's gotta be somewhere like Nazare. There are actually surfers that go for the biggest wave ridden claim. Those guys are a whole other level of skills and human being, just like any extreme sport or adventure. |

I have worked on / inside those big engines, and really anything below 700 mm Cylinder diameter are for boys, and yes they normally top out at around 90 - 100 RPM. Really you would want a Danish ( well former Danish B&W motor now part of MAN group, which are also the first guys to put a diesel engine in a ship when all else was shoveling coal ) Okay maybe aside for some Dutch vessel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burmeister_%26_Wain Come on over and you can still see a big one getting cranked now and then.
