Religion is the cure to ruin the world. I don't believe any church of any religion should receive state, county, city, or federal funding or for that matter tax breaks.

Since when did ANY church recieve funding from govt??? Its never worked like that here.....

If I recall, theyre classified as non-profit.

And I think the OP is hillarious. Not only do they want to build it, they want our money to do it.

I dont think theres one person here who doesnt think theyll get it......

If it had been Christian individuals claiming they took the towers down for Christianity and the holy war that Christians must wage against the evil Americans and all non-believers around the world then yes I would be livid about a Christian church...but it wasn't. It WAS people of the Muslin faith that caused the terrorist act in the name of Allah and their faith.

Techincally its Not a church, its branded as a "Community Center" that so happens to have a Mosque in it.

Wanting money that is supposedly allocated to REBUILD historical buildings to build their NEW building? If that were the case, I'd be mad at any business (for profit or non-profit) that were sticking their hand out...
