| Re: Stu's Super Spectacular Static Scorcher! Best I could do with felt and CA glue Wavy door panel Started on the fuel tank. Looks like Bubba couldn't find the right tank. I've used this trick before, but it's a good trick so here it is again: LED fuel filter. Need a VW weenie to school me on where the fuel inlet line runs, it looks like there's too much heat in that neighborhood. Made a 3-bolt flange for the stinger, but I don't think those nuts are gonna come off. |

IIRC the fuel line comes in from the drivers side. Been a long damn time though...

Another short day, but a good one. Fuel tank installed, sending unit wired. How do these luggage compartments get so nasty? Tool box and helmet in the back Steering wheel Speaking of wheels, I widened the other two VW wheels. These tuck under the fenders a lot better than the Torq-Thrusts, but I'm torn. Anyone got an opinion either way? And that pesky fuel line is hooked up. That finishes off the engine. |

I have no opinion about the wheels, but I'm curious why there's a Colt 45 can in there. And to post to mention that you're goofy. |

Now THAT is a proper looking floorpan. The kick plates are still clean though. |

Those 8-oz Coors cans were the perfect size, but marked you as a Coors drinker.

Yea, another little trick, at least for trail riding, is if you manage to spring a leak in your radiator pepper from a pepper mill will plug it long enough to get you off the trail Oh and Stu, I LOVE IT! The beer can is just great!

We used to torture the kid at the shop by asking him to check the coolant in the Corvair |

Got to rust out under the battery and cut a piece of 3/8 ply to keep it from dragging on the road, and a red plastic roller gas pedal.
