Still tuning it in. Now has xt8000 11sp shifter and der with xo1 10-42 cassette and carbon rims. Still Getting used to riding it, might need an angle set to get it just right. Changed the compression shim stack in the fork to better match the rear action.

Just went tubeless on the Niner, what a noticeable increase in ride quality. Didn't buy into it until I tried it. Anyone who hasn't gone TL or on the fence about it, just do it, you will have no regrets.

Yep, headset angle. Feel like it would handle better if it was .5-1degree slacker

I was trying to work on manuals on the DJ bike tonight and looped one, hard, on pavement. I think my left ass is broken. I hit so hard on my ass that it gave me a headache. Learning this crap at 40 is tough.

It's my favorite time of year again, color is just starting to pop. From today's ride at the bodyfarm trails.

Still don't understand how they're holding on upside down but, hey, move off that little island to a real continent or shut up!

We had our first group ride in the cooler weather yesterday. Not liking the cooler weather, but I felt good, felt strong and fast all day long. There were 5 of us riding SS yesterday too, that's always fun!

Found an awesome price on a set of Saint brakes. So the DH sled should be getting some new toys in the next month or so.

If anyone needs some brakes shoot me a PM. I'm getting rid of the Formula's on my DH bike so I can try something different. Plus, the lever and my finger don't like each other.

scored this On One 456 for cheap, $100, but it was beat to shits. I took the whole thing apart, rebuild the shock and lowered it to 100mm travel instead of 120mm (imma short guy). non drive side crank was bent, rear wheel was taco'ed, but the frame was straight and true, plus the rear derailleur was in great shape. Here is where she sits after the rebuild. I might go with the SLX cranks in the future, but for now I'm super stocked with how comfortable this things rides it's a 16" frame. We did a long distance riding last week on this bike and I was suprised considering I was running nevegals 2.35 front and 2.0 in the back and 20miles of road. It was a great day. All in all it was 72 miles....BTW the wind helped alot too. Here are some pics, sorry for some night time blurry pics. It was a cold one.

Nice bike and a steal of a price! My coworker has one of those and loves it. If you want a good budget crankset, consider the Deore cranks. Similar to SLX, but a smidge heavier and cheaper.

I forgot about the bike thread. There's quite a few nice rides in here. I am going to throw in one more that I built up in the spring and rode all summer. I even managed to get it uphill a few times....

Iv'e got the Deore cranks on my specialized and love it, but I figure why not go for the extra bling since I got a super awesome deal on the bike and steel is real love. Iv'e beat the snot out of this bike since I got it and just keeps asking for more.
