I was busting through snow drifts in reverse down a 100 yard driveway in a Mini Cooper at five in the morning. My poor Boone is feeling neglected. Spring can't come soon enough. | |

I accidentally crossthreaded one of my pedals and had to get a new crank arm....well, at least I thought I was going to be able to just replace the arm, turns out, Shimano isn't currently making any Sora cranks. So, after trying to unsuccessfully tap the threads, the guy at the bike shop made me a KILLER deal on a crank that has been sitting on their shelf for a while. |

It hit 39 degrees this morning so went for a 10 mile ride... and to the grocery store. Man it felt good to get out there... longest winter ever! |

| Re: The Official Road Bike/Cycling Thread Sweet ride! On a similar note, I built up a Specialized AWOL for a customer today and will be modding it when parts arrive. Holy crap what a fun bike. More or less a rigid 29er with 1x11, drop bars, and hydraulic discs. N+1 they say, right?

So my buddy Mike came over from the Gap (Deals Gap, he's up here from FL riding motorycles) today, and skipped a day of moto to come ride pedal bikes with me. Tough ride for me, it's my first big ride, and big climb this year. BUT, you get a 6 mile downhill run through some nice twisties as a reward, and as Mike said, it did NOT suck. I had a great time as always riding with friends you rarely get to hang out with. Katie's Falls About halfway up the 6 mile climb At the top Good times! Looks like a fun ride! Earning the downs is the best.

Thanks, she rides like a dream and love the color and style. I had the beard going too, but it was buggin me because my hair is so coarse, so I shaved it but had to keep the stache since I hadn't had one for awhile. |
