I never said "assholes"... neither did the articles I posted.

I think the assumption of "people think we are assholes and that pisses me off" comes from the actual people in question getting offended... because they usually do not recognize their privilege. In this case, white people. (or in feminist conversations it's often men of all color's calling bs.)

But yes, you have recognized that being born white in America has it's privileges.

It's not anyone's fault... or even an accusation.

The MLK message was ALL men should be treated equal. No matter white, black, tan or yellow all men men should be judged on the content of there character not the color of skin. This message is lost when we concern ourselfs with a "white priveledge" and "black supression" attitude.
