The problem is they only wish to become equals by bringing those whom they see as being above them down to their level. I get it, and agree. It's in the same vein as saying that it was a good thing that the Romans killed Jesus. Cold and to the point, but technically and historically correct. The most beneficial thing that happened to the cause was the ending of it's leaders life.
