Linking your local file system won't work on the internets. You'll need an image hosting site like Imgur.

Not a purchase but vanquish sent these to me yesterday

Billet braces for my vs4-10, black anodized coating was a surprise.

If your running a dig, you need to bend the servo mount up a bit, or the servo hits the rear brace. VP knows and is working on a fix

Good to know. Going to tear down my rig at some point this week and put all that on. Just waiting on 4 gts shocks to put on.

Found this at a antique store for $29.00. Bought it spur of the moment thinking I could flip it on Ebay. But after researching, it might not be worth more than what I bought it for.
Don't know much on RC10's but after a hour on the net found out about the chassis stamp.
This one has an A under the trans. which is earlier versions. But it has a 3 gear trans which is newer versions. The suspension arms look to be new or possible after market. Associated released blacked out parts later on, but these look dyed to me. There is some white showing on the bottom of back arm mount. Motor might be shot as there is alot of play in the shaft.

Thinking I might just find a body and wing and make it a shelf piece now. They also had a Losi JRx2 for $29.00 in about the same condition as the RC10.

^^That's cool as hell. Honestly, if I had somewhere to display it, I'd probably just go that route.

Oh man! I've been wanting to make one of these as a shelf queen. Just haven't found a decent condition chassis yet.

That looks like an expensive recall.

I read that some people are having to modify theirs for the drivetrain to clear. Any ideas why?

Those parts are cnc aluminum , anodized black. Better than stock parts in tightening frame flex, also look great. What many are doing is using the original plastic front brace as a rear servo winch mount.

ONLY issue is with the optional dig unit. The bottom of the shift servo case hits the back of the new brace.
VP is aware of this , new servo arm is coming . Current fix is minor elongation of one hole to allow clearance

I got mine in this past weekend and had zero issues with clearances.

VS4-10 braces are here! These were a free upgrade, so I didn’t have to purchase them. Now to get them installed.

You mean SLW hubs? If so then no I don't have any yet. I don't even know what I'm going to do with these wheels. I saw them for a good price so I pulled the trigger just in case VP ever discontinues them.

No I meant scale centers. I run the SSD “scale locking hubs” up front

So you didn't pay $100 for them? That would be a good thing.
