I was at the post office today and collect more parts, that be minus one 45 degree fitting that Danish postal made go bye - bye with their handling and subsequent breakage of the shipping box.
But other than that i came home with this.

2 X NB fans for my radiator, upgrade these as this models have 2 X the CFM of the ones i currently use, and for the same low noise level.
2 X 1 liter CFX electric yellow cooling fluid.
1 Inline aqua computer temp sensor for measuring temp on cooling water coming off radiator.
1X Coollabotory liquid ultra thermal paste for the CPU.
And finally 3 Meters of EK Duraclear tubing.

all going into this case ( test assembly picture and 2 X old hardware )
Just imagine it with a nice coat of flat black powder coat, and with a motherboard sized window in the side the picture are taken from.

Some of the other parts for the old mod, transparent red on chrome look nice pics dont do it justice.

Paint by me of course, and still good though it are 6 years since i painted that case.

So, as a PC gamer I have to ask, since you're going with liquid cooled are you shooting for some kind of crazy overclock speeds?

No.
Though i have been into overclocking since a 700 MHZ was all the rage, then on my current core I7 system and this new one i will not be doing any OC.
The use of water-cooling in this case are just from a noise perspective, as 2 modest RPM fans on a radiator do a better cooling job than 2 screaming fans on a big bulky heatpipe cooler.
I have build my computers with water cooling mainly for the past 10 years or so.
I know my 3600 MHZ ram are way overkill when i dont plan to do any OC, but really looking at slower speed ram that match the Ryzen 2700X needs there are pretty much no savings, so nice to have a lot of headroom, you never know i might tweak it a little if i get bored one day.

This mod case i made back in the day was also pretty much all about performance and not so much about looks, never really been able to do the big KAPOW looking mods due to me having little tools and no option to work at home.

WAY back in the day i did 100 % chrome plate a case and PSU as i was working in that line of work at the time

Well back then ( around 2000 ) most cases was made of steel, with come degree of plastic added, mostly to the front.
So i chromed the side panels and the whole frame and motherboard tray + the PSU housing.
And then slapped a coat of gold painting on the plastic parts.

So my computer was pretty flashy even with no lights in it

Being not quite like most other people are nice,,,,, well mostly it is, some times it do backlash on you.

These showed up for my 200 today

These will let me go from the factory single piston calipers and 11.57" (or thereabouts) rotors to the 2 piston Charger Pursuit Package calipers and 13.39" (also or thereabouts) rotors on the front of the car.

Wow. That is one killer looking kit. Too bad the ad says "ALOOP's XR400 Seat Tank kit is a "must-have" item for any XR400 performance rider. Which i am no longer. 10years ago you bet i would be all over that.

I haven't ridden my Aprilia in over a month plus but feels like all year. Flippin step on my nuts busy right now. Family and friends had one of those intervention things. They basically said we know your busy but if you think getting your nuts stepped on is bad wait till we kick you in the nuts. Find an outlet you know and enjoy for even a 30min break. Well Fawk you guys then.

I gotta ride as it is my only peace and there are open fire roads and single track within 2mi of my house. Was going to get a KTM 500EXC-F or a 690 Enduro R. Expensive but fawk it. Looked at some old pics after a HD failure and my 97' XR600 came up. Oh how i loved that thing. Wanted an Electric start as a minimum and FI as a bonus. The KTM's fit the bill and well you know me and Orange. Scoured the CL ads just before going to the KTM dealer and this thing popped up.

Old Git was the original owner and just had an off, broke his leg and said F these death traps. Sucks and been there done that.

Punched in his address last night and rolled up to his house. XR looked good from the pics and was used but not abused. Pulled onto his Street and it kept goig and going and no other housed around except for his on top of a hill overlooking a golf course. Easily houlda known cause his house was 3mil + and said Oh Crap this is gonna cost me but i was looking at KTM's so all i can do is see what's up.

Test rode it and it is an absolute tractor of a motor just like my XR600 was. 1-4 gear 10 o'clock wheelie with almost no throttle. Knobbies helped get it up though. When he had XR's Only do the Electric Start upgrade (TRX Crank, Cases, Starter, Controls etc.) he rebuilt the whole motor, Head, Valves, Weisco piston, stage 1 cam bumped the comp up to 10:1 and had them tune the carb for Sea level to 6000ft. I am sure much more. He mainly rode it in AZ hence the plate at his "Other Winter House" before it pitched him.

2000 Honda XR400R
Magic Button
Baja Designs Dual Sport Conversion
Trail Tech X2 Headlight
Acerbis Skid Plate
GPR V1 Steering Dampener
WRP Mountain Tuff Cargo Rack & WRP Tail Bag
ASV Clutch & Brake Lever
IMS Super Stock Foot Pegs
Acerbis Handguards
IMS Shark Fin
XR's Only Mikuni TM36 Pumper Carb (Unfortunately can't be used w/E-Start)
Needs some clean up in the wiring, cable routes other small items.

Extras
Complete wheel with paddle tire
See Pics

Problem was it came with all his riding gear, spares and this Fawkin Yellow thing i know really nothing about. Suzuki DRZ400E non plated Green Sticker is about all i know.

2001 Suzki DRZ400E

Acerbis 4gln tank
Trail Tech Endurance
Acerbis Skid Plate
IMS Shark Fin

Oh and most who have made it this far in my short story will say this cmbscx10 Fawker always beeches and says his will never have a Red this or that and hates the color. Then he goes and buys a 90% Red colored motorcycle. Damn hypocrite. Oh i most defiantly do hate Red as a color and that will never change. I have 2 or 3 Factory Red stickers on my Aprilia and hate them and scowl at them but can't cut them off cause they are part of the whole sticker thing. The only Red i will ever have, accept or pay money for is on the MFG that provided me with the most wins when i raced and the most smiles when i did not. Gotta have some give from time to time.

So, we all know my first choice in color is Orange. If you combine RED and YELLOW what do you get?

I bet you will never guess what i paid for this "Package Deal"

So you bought two damn motos? You suck! Seriously though, congrats, both are great bikes. My DRZ400sm was hands down the best bike I ever owned. I put 23,000 HARD miles on it, and it was bombproof. Gas, tires, and oil is all I ever did. I was over meticulous about maintenance, but it showed every time I opened it up to check the valves.

And I feel your pain on having no life. I've been working on my resume. It's time for me to make a change. Even I didn't realize how bad it's gotten until my sister mentioned she had checked my Strava the other day and saw just how little time I've spent running and riding the bicycles this year. Those have become my outlet once I sold the moto, and not having that means my job that I've grown to hate, and all the other crap in life, I have no way to get it out of my system. So it just builds and builds. But, I have an escape plan that I'm working on, and it WILL get better. I hope that it does for you too man, have fun in the dirt, I'm jealous.

So, how long before that gets autocrosses or tracked?

I think I saw those wheels on a S-10 tonight, truck was rolling slow and I never got a good view of them and didn't recognize them, but they looked very Chevy/GM.
