Okay so today i was awakened by a amazon drone crashing into my apartment block again, in the wreckage i found a couple of these little fatties.

Should ensure my up and coming enlightenment will last a while.

Also i found the hood of the Blazer is now complete, now the painter just need to hit the main part of the body up with the 2 tone paint job ( this blue and then pearl white markings & hardtop )

Purchased the rough sawn hard Maple last Saturday morning from a local saw mill. I got the 3rd coat of satin polyurethane on this afternoon, one more buff and a few minor touch ups and the top will be finished. I hope to start fabbing the metal frame on Saturday.

There was enough good leftover pieces that I sawed them up into strips and started making a few cutting boards. The wood was too nice ( and expensive) to just toss away. I'll post up progress pics as it happens.

Two more gifts for myself.
Naked Lunch arrived on Wednesday(my birthday), and Akira arrived today.

Movies on disk rox, steaming sux.

HB Mark

So they say i don't own a single DVD myself, and my only player is the drive on my computer, and i sure as hell are not going to watch a nice movie on a 22" CRT screen.

Anyway my post box and life got some illumination today, so in between this my P36 and a Chevy Blazer with 16 X 50.000 mcd LED's i think i will be able to find my way in the dark forest.

Tacon Thriller showed up last week. Perfect "In-between" size. And too many parts purchased for the Animus to begin counting

Stopping by the track on the way home tonight with the Tacon and the Mini Trophy. So far, I really like this Tacon.

Follow-up to my dabble into basic table manufacturing.

I used most of a 24' stick of 1.5" square tubing, .083 wall for the table frame.

I used a 'Desert Grey' from Prismatic powder coats. It didn't have the heavy wrinkle finish that was advertised, I was hoping to hide some of the less-than-perfect welds. Oh well, it still didn't turn out too bad.

Overall, I'm happy with the end result. I will make end tables to match the style, they will turn out better.

I used the scraps of the rough sawn hard maple to make a few cutting boards.

Mounted the hyrax and gold voodoo's on dlux front/slw rear wheels. They're packed with CI foam of course.

Ended up with my hr "lcg" trans back again to rob of its gears for another dlux HamBerger trans build.

Picked up a new set of creation fab tubes and housings with links mounts etc to convert the rental to scx axles. Waiting on axle shafts now.

That's what she said!

This is a custom body for my Associated SC10 short course truck. I told the painter I wanted an Evel Knievel inspired paint job. I'm really happy with it.

thought I'd try to get into SOME FPV driving.
Hooking up camera mount to a servo hooked into steering, in theory, it should
work well.
