It's pretty fun in Horizon, I'd like to see how they incorporate them into Motorsport 7 though. Horizon is cool when I want to goof around, but Motorsport always keeps my attention long term. I'm just struggling to see how the hoonigan cars fit in on that format.

Yeah I hope they get it half way right, it will be interesting to see how they incorporate the Offroad stuff to the sim-cade side of things.

I'm not holding my breath, but I am optimistic as this one is being developed on, and catered to the PC crowd from what I've read. Supposedly, most of my past complaints will be fixed. I really hope so, as I'd love to get the old Forza group back together again. That shit was good times!

Well among all the usual shit forza/turn10 gets wrong they go and add this. Dynamic tires!! Yeah you are reading that right! What are dynamic tires you ask? Dynamic tires are tires that change mid race with the weather, no pit stop needed. So a 1/4 into the second lap and it starts raining the tires magically go from race slicks to rain tires. In a game that's supposed to be your most realistic and immersive you go and do that, TURN10 YOU ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!!!

Well, I downloaded the Forza 7 demo earlier, and it's a complete joke. All the BS they spewed about how it was the first Forza to be developed for the PC, with good FFB support. Blah, blah, blah. There's no option to set your degrees of rotation on a wheel, calibrate pedals, etc. Best I can tell it's locked at 540deg or so, way too touchy for me. I ran every vehicle in sim steering with all assists except ABS off, and the only thing I could drive worth a damn was the Merc truck. You can't even adjust your FOV FFS.

But hey, the tire smoke is now in 4k.

But you can set ffb scale and wheel rotation on the demo speed. You have to go into controller settings with the wheel plugged up.

Yes, I did all of that. There's no rotation setting anywhere on the PC demo. Strength and all that sure, but no rotation setting anywhere.

That's odd, I wonder why they put it on the console demo and not the PC. The PC version doesn't have the advanced settings menu?

Yes, the advanced menu is there, but that setting is not. This is all you get that is wheel related;

I also downloaded the demo (xbox one). you can toggle dynamic tires.

I'm sure they still have the tire deflection model. that was a bragging point in like FM5? i doubt they would ditch that.

as for the wheel settings, maybe it was only left out in the demo? i mean we cant even adjust settings on the cars so... wait and see, i guess.

im still miffed about Toyota being left out. but i will probably get FM7 anyway.

Hahaha that's kinda ****ed up Speed. We have a bigger advanced setting menu on the console, which includes wheel rotation settings. It's really ****ed up they did it for one and not the other.
